I think one of the most profound moments I have ever experience was at the funeral of my good friends. His name was Nick Peña and he was one of the most kind hearted humans I have ever met. If you have been following me for a while you have probably heard me talking about going to quite a few funerals, in fact I have been to 29 as of last month. For some reason this funeral him me harder than most of the others. Nick was the most Genuine boy I have ever had the honor of knowing and I was sitting watching the slide show of his childhood pictures with tears pouring down my face. I felt this crazy good energy Nick used to transfer every time he would smile from across the room and glide through to give me one of those warm bear hugs I miss so damn much.. Nick would have hated people crying over him, he would have thrown a funky beat down and told everyone to just chill. haha I guess I wanted to live on being the most positive person I could be. That was a reality check to continue being kind to people, even if your having the worst day. Enjoy the people you love and never take moments with your close friends and family for granted. Even in death Nick influences me. Whenever I am upset or need to calm down I put on his XYZ mixtape and jam.
